2020 has been quite the rollercoaster to say the least.

We started this year off with Amy and Manny’s wedding in late July. Due to Covid-19, they had to make the difficult decision to downsize their wedding. Not only did they have to cut the number of guests but they had to cut some events too. As tough as this decision was, you could never see it on their faces!

One thing I learned after shooting a few intimate covid weddings this year is that though there are less people, there is so much more love and energy. I’ve never seen families enjoy themselves at a wedding as I have seen in these last few months. When you downsize your wedding to 50 or 100 people, everyone around you are those you consider close. You can actually feel the love and excitement. It’s a different energy. People are not afraid to be themselves – and it shows!
